The summer is heating up, and so is the Aon Risk Reward Challenge! We've continued our work on Aon's video series this season, and we wanted to highlight our most recent piece for the Scottish Open.
The 16th hole at the Renaissance Club is notable for its bunkers, and we needed to visually demonstrate the risk calculations that players make regarding those sand traps. While the hope is that you're listening to the smooth tones of the legendary Jim Nantz's voiceover, we know that isn't always the case. So we used a color-coded system of graphics, highlights, and trackers to tell the story without audio, too. The pot bunkers were shaded red, to signify the danger to a player's score, while optimal targets were in green. While the color-coding might seem simple, it is the most effective way to key an audience in to the meaning of your graphics.
